At GlampVentures, we’ve tailored our retreat to cater exclusively to adults seeking a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily responsibilities. To maintain the tranquil and restorative environment of our glamping experience, we do not accommodate pets or children. This adults-only policy ensures that all our guests can enjoy a peaceful, uninterrupted retreat into nature, focusing on relaxation, rejuvenation, and reconnection with the natural world.

When packing for your stay, you can travel light, as we provide nearly everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Here’s what you should consider bringing outside of your clothing and toiletries:

• Food and Ice: We supply all necessary amenities except for food and ice, so please bring enough provisions for your stay.
• Beach Towel: If you plan to enjoy the river, bring a beach towel. We provide all other linens and paper products for your convenience.
• Hiking Shoes: If you're visiting after rain, consider bringing shoes that you don’t mind getting muddy for hiking and exploring our scenic trails.
• Sense of Adventure: Most importantly, bring your sense of adventure to make the most of the GlampVentures experience!

Additionally, while we provide essentials, you are welcome to bring your own firewood. Alternatively, you can support our teenager’s entrepreneurial spirit by purchasing firewood directly onsite for $6 per bundle/$3 kindling. This way, you're all set for a cozy evening by the fire, immersed in the peaceful sounds of nature at GlampVentures.

Off-grid glamping at GlampVentures means you can enjoy the beauty and serenity of nature without the constant buzz of modern life, yet with comforts that elevate your camping experience. While our site does not offer traditional electric or plumbing services, we ensure that your stay is comfortable and convenient by providing:

• Solar Lighting: Our accommodations are equipped with solar-powered lighting systems to ensure you
  have light without needing traditional electricity.
• Rechargeable Battery Packs: For your electronic devices, we provide rechargeable battery packs with USB ports, so you can keep your phones and other gadgets charged during your stay.
• Cellular Service: There’s no Wi-Fi on-site, but most cellular carriers receive service here, allowing you to stay connected as needed.
• Water Supply: We provide fresh water in 5-gallon jugs with dispensers, suitable for washing dishes, brushing teeth, and other personal hygiene needs.
• Solar Camp Showers: For bathing, we offer solar camp shower bags that heat water using the sun, providing a warm shower experience in harmony with nature.
• Rechargeable Fan: To ensure your comfort during warmer days, a rechargeable fan is included in your
  accommodations.
  This approach allows you to experience the simplicity and authenticity of traditional camping, enhanced with thoughtful amenities that ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay, truly defining the essence of off-grid glamping at GlampVentures.

We utilize marine toilets to ensure a clean and convenient experience for our guests. These toilets are designed with a pump that adds water to the bowl, and a pull lever mechanism that allows waste to drop into a sealed tank below, keeping everything out of sight and odor-free. This system is straightforward to use, maintaining the ease and comfort of your off-grid glamping experience while being environmentally considerate. It’s all part of making your stay with us as easy peasy as possible, without compromising on the basic luxuries.

At GlampVentures, every season unveils its unique allure, making it a splendid retreat any time of the year. From October through April, the river retreats, revealing a mile of river bottom to explore with a beautiful Coffer Dam. During the warmer months, the area transforms into a vibrant, lake-like setting ideal for water activities. Come fall, the landscape is a painter’s palette of changing leaves, creating a spectacular display of autumnal colors. So, whether you're drawn to the tranquil beauty of the forest’s seasonal transformations or the joy of water-based activities, GlampVentures provides a picturesque backdrop for your nature escapade throughout the year.

At GlampVentures, the natural terrain and design of our site, including steps and uneven ground, currently limit our ability to offer fully handicapped-accessible accommodations. We have not made specific accommodations for handicapped access, which may pose challenges for individuals with mobility issues. We aim to provide a true and immersive nature experience, and the natural landscape of our location influences the design and layout of our facilities. We advise potential guests with mobility concerns to contact us directly to discuss their needs and determine if our environment is suitable for their stay.
